Designer biography:
Mexican jewelry designer originally from Oaxaca, Mexico. She draws inspiration from culture and traditions through clay, textiles, and metal. Over 15 years, she has participated in various fashion runways in Madrid, Guadalajara, and Mexico City; has received several national awards; and earned the First Place Award in the Fashion and Jewelry category at El Premio México Diseña in 2024/2020, as well as career achievement recognitions in 2024 and 2018. She has been featured in Jewelry Trends in 2024 and 2013 and has taken part in numerous group exhibitions of contemporary jewelry in Paris, Madrid, and Buenos Aires. She has also exhibited textile jewelry in Buenos Aires and Tucumán, and participated in Artistar Jewelry at Milan Jewelry Week in 2024.
Collection concept:
Sometimes it takes a fall, a fracture, to hear what the body already knew: something inside is asking to be seen. We are fragile; we learn it when life breaks us open and the truth shows in the crack. When I break, I choose to rise, gather my pieces, and name the new landscape within. Mending is my act of presence: to inhabit my new self with courage, to show the visible seam of what I’ve lived through—no longer in pain, but in strength—and let that mark become part of my story.
