One Month until the most important international jewelry event in Romania - Romanian Jewelry Week 2025
From October 1–5, 2025, Bucharest will host the sixth edition of Romanian Jewelry Week, the most important contemporary jewelry event in Romania. Over 270 designers from 40 countries will transform the capital into an international hub of creativity, innovation, and stories told through jewelry.
In addition to international exhibitions and the ROJW2025 jewelry fair, visitors will have access to conferences, presentations, and workshops led by renowned names in the jewelry field. The program will take place in multiple venues across Bucharest, with the National Library of Romania as the main location, alongside museums, galleries, and independent spaces.
This year, Romanian Jewelry Week is honored by the presence of prestigious collective exhibitions with diverse histories and experiences, all united by their passion for contemporary jewelry. Some are well-established landmarks in the field, such as SCHMUCKmuenchen, a reference forum in the jewelry world for over sixty years, regarded as the most important meeting point for experts and connoisseurs; or The International Jewellery Competition, the central event of the Legnica Jewellery Festival SILVER, organized since 1979 by the Gallery of Art in Legnica, one of the oldest European initiatives dedicated to supporting creativity at the intersection of art, craft, and design. Others are at the beginning of their journey but already shaping fresh perspectives, such as Slovenian Jewelry Week 2025, where the theme “Energy, Joy, and Harmony” explored jewelry as an artistic response to today’s global challenges. Alongside them, Romanian Jewelry Week also brings together diverse and innovative collectives, such as AdOC, Global Creative Graduate Show, Plus One Collective, Assamblage Contemporary School, Institute Jeanne Toussaint – Belgium, Precious Collective, The Sense of Beauty Gallery, and Unnecessary Jewelry.
From New York to Athens, Munich, and Madrid, leading names from museums, galleries, and international fairs will jury the exhibited works and present the awards at the opening ceremony on October 1. The official jury of Romanian Jewelry Week 2025 will include:
