Collection concept:

The "Coevolution" series explores the symbiotic life of fragile, microscopic entities. It stems from the idea that symbiosis reflects how we recognize differences and compensate for flaws through communication. I manually deconstruct industrial basalt fiber into fine threads and reassemble them within a white resin space. Into the space created by these threads, sterling silver lines enter, settling in and beginning to move dynamically. Transitioning between two and three dimensions, these lines mutate into a new, integrated organism endowed with life. Through a communion of life, these diverse organisms each form their own unique, new relationships.
