Designer biography:
With a background in psychology and graphic design, Flavia Fabian creates jewellery at the intersection of awareness, communication, and form. Meaning, curiosity, and the joy of experimentation are integral to her process. Exploring the expressive potential of materials, she combines organic textures with geometric forms in traditional metals and beyond, transforming abstract ideas into tangible experiences. Her work has been exhibited as part of the Assamblage School Collective at ROJW, Handwerk & Design, and Inhorgenta Munich.
Collection concept:
In Transition
This collection invites us to find joy in exploring without yet understanding. Cast from local tree bark in silver and bronze, and brought together with collected stones and fragments of earlier work, these pieces carry more than the imprint of a tree. Like bark itself, which protects while growth happens beneath, they became a space for creative transition. Before they became jewellery, they made it possible to keep making. The objects were first created; their meaning was found only later, emerging gradually through play rather than intention.
