GALS JEWELLERIES
Designer biography:
My fascination with gemstones and jewelry has always been present, along with the desire to create and bring my own ideas to life. Although I initially pursued studies in economics, I soon realized that I needed a creative path. Eleven years ago, I decided to follow this passion and enrolled in a jewelry-making school. My journey began at Assamblage and later continued with other specialized courses, including the UCECOM school and a chasing and repoussé course in Italy. Each new technique and discovery motivated me to explore further, gradually transforming what once was a passion into my profession. In order to deepen my knowledge and refine my artistic language, I began a Master’s program at UNARTE in the Metal Arts section, where I study advanced metalworking techniques as well as the history and cultural significance of jewelry. My work has been presented in numerous exhibitions dedicated to contemporary jewelry. In 2025, I was selected to participate in the Munich Handwerk exhibition and in Rome Jewelry Week, an international event that brings together artists, galleries, and designers from around the world. For me, jewelry is a form of storytelling. Each piece reflects a dialogue between material, nature, and emotion. Time spent at the workbench is a space of concentration and joy, where ideas gradually take shape and become wearable objects.
Collection concept:
ROOT OF TIME
Like the oak tree that passes through the seasons without losing its strength, each piece of jewelry in this collection carries within it a story about time, transformation, and continuity. Handcrafted from silver, the pieces become a journey through the four seasons of nature and of life. In spring, the oak tree is reborn and dresses its branches with young, bright leaves. Nature begins to grow again, and every detail gains delicacy and freshness. In the jewelry, oak leaves are reinterpreted in silver forms colored with enamel, evoking the fragility and beauty of beginnings and the hope that comes back to life. In summer, the oak tree is full of life, with strong branches and rich foliage. The textures of the jewelry capture the energy and abundance of this season, when nature reaches its full strength. In autumn, the leaves become symbols of maturity, gratitude, and the beauty of change. In winter, the oak tree remains unshaken. Its bare branches draw elegant lines, and in the apparent stillness life continues quietly. It is the season of patience, inner strength, and the simple beauty of sleeping nature. In this collection, each piece of jewelry becomes a small part of the oak tree’s story, a symbol of deep roots, the passage of time, and our connection with nature.
