Collection concept:
Shikata ga nai: “There is nothing to be done.” The art of letting go and acceptance, which is about finding peace when we find ourselves in a situation over which we have no control. Letting go and acceptance lead to peace; just as driftwood is smoothed by the water, so too is the human soul in the currents of life. What we let go of changes, and so do we through it; when the hand lets go, the driftwood is shaped by the water and returns to us transformed, so there is no point in worrying about it; this brings inner peace, regardless of the situation we find ourselves in. Peace depends on our own perspective: do I choose acceptance, or do I suffer in clinging?
