Designer biography:
Ross Dickinson is a self taught designer/maker from England who has been creating jewellery in various places around Europe and the UK for the past eight years. His unique style is recognised for blending techniques and exploring surrealistic themes. His work has earned Cookson Gold’s Design of the Month Award and has been exhibited and sold internationally in shops, fairs and exhibitions.
Collection concept:
Why do we dream? What do our dreams mean? In a world where science seems to have all the answers, dreams are still inexplicable. It is a phenomenon experienced by everybody but remains to be a mystery to us. This collection is inspired by the illusive nature of dreams and the mystery surrounding them - the familiar entwined with the abstract, the strange recollection of a recurring dream… and the memory of a dream slipping away upon waking.
