Hadeel Abuouf - Saudi Metalsmith Collective
Hadeel Abuouf
Designer biography:
I am a contemporary Saudi jewelry designer, jeweler, and misbaha (prayer bead) maker inspired by the beauty of the sea and its natural formations—especially coral, waves, and marine life. I transform organic lines and simple forms into wearable works of art that blend minimalism with a modern expression of local identity. I believe jewelry is more than an accessory; it is a medium for storytelling, memory, and a connection to nature. Every piece is thoughtfully crafted with an emphasis on lightness, balance, fine craftsmanship, meticulous detail, and exceptional quality.
Collection concept:
This collection consists of ten jewelry pieces inspired by the Saudi sea, reflecting the organic structures of coral, the fluid movement of waves, and the diverse forms of marine life. The designs feature clean metal lines and open spaces, celebrating the beauty of negative space as much as solid form, creating a harmonious balance between geometric simplicity and natural fluidity. The collection includes earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets, and brooches, all connected through a unified design language that honors the marine landscape in a contemporary way. While each piece has its own distinct character, together they form a cohesive collection that embodies elegance, nature, and modern craftsmanship.
