Cho Nam graduated from Birmingham City University, School of Jewellery in 2025 with an MA in Jewellery and Related Products.

Collection concept

My project transforms discarded drink cans into woven contemporary sculptural jewellery, encouraging individuals to confront waste issues. This work serves as jewellery activism, raising awareness about the consequences of careless disposal. Through this transformation, I aim to inspire responsibility and engage everyone in creating a cleaner, more respectful environment. By utilizing reimagined materials, the jewellery prompts reflection on our consumption habits and fosters dialogue about sustainability. It challenges viewers to rethink their relationship with waste and act toward a more sustainable future.
