Designer biography:
I’m Cara, a jewelry designer and manufacturer based in Bucharest, creator of Romanian brand CARA Concrete Jewelry. Concrete is my favorite material to use in jewelry as it transfers effortlessly and plainly its inner strength to every admirer’s eye and imagination, while silver allows me to bring fluidity to geometrical patterns, to shapes originating from my structural engineering background. “He” is the trusted friend and partner to my creativity.

This collection evolves from Lanes and eNclosure in a time when principles, morality and even humanity are literally under attack. In such circumstances people turn to creativity for positive alternatives to chaos and destruction. In this collection the slices cut from our planet are replaced by discs of optimism, creativity and resilience. This collection wants to fight the abstract and gloomy reality with emotions like rebirth, pleasant and wearable.
