Art has always been a part of me, though I once set it aside for a more conventional path. My background in psychology shapes the way I approach jewelry—seeking meaning and emotion in every piece. In 2018, I reconnected with creativity through hand-cutting stones, drawn to their raw beauty. This led me to silverwork and an apprenticeship in metal and wood sculpture. The pandemic deepened my artistic pursuit, guiding me toward fine wax carving and the symbolism of mourning jewelry. My work now explores contrasts—strength and fragility, past and present—preserving memory in tangible form.
Collection concept:
"My work spotlights a forbidden love story, serving as the inspiration for this collection that merges the raw strength of forged metal with the delicate beauty of pearls. The blacksmith, constrained by his status, crafts iron jewelry as a testament to his devotion, while the princess reciprocates with rare pearls symbolizing her love. Rather than selling them, he incorporates these pearls into unique creations. His final masterpiece, a magnificent brooch, embodies their lost love and is later transformed into mourning jewelry. This collection celebrates the contrast between power and fragility—a love that defies time itself."
