Tomas Miskovic
Designer biography:
Tomas Miskovic has been a jeweler for over 20 years. After a start in fine jewelry, he quickly found his passion for art jewelry, winning several awards for his designs and techniques. With the label "unexpected jewelry", he attempts to break the rules of "ordinary" jewelry and of the expected. Each piece is an experiment in pushing the boundaries of the craft and attempting to re-invent what jewelry can be. At the same time, he wants to stay true to his roots in traditional goldsmithing, using established materials - gold, sterling silver, precious stones – and techniques.
Collection concept:
The initial “Through the darkness” collection began with a search for hope in a darkening world. I found that hope can arise from our inner strength, from our refusal to give in to despair. But what happens when strength falters? “Through the darkness (NOT ALONE)” is a continuation of that journey and search for hope. This time I invited friends from the jewelry world to walk with me. They gave me their signature elements – I found new inspiration and perspective. The result is not just jewelry, but solidarity, when our own strength falters, our friends are there to lend theirs. In a time when the world still feels heavier than ever before, this collection is a reminder: even in darkness, we can reach for each other. And when we do, hope becomes not just possible—but inevitable.
