Collection concept:
"Fire and Ice" is a sculptural jewelry set of two bracelets and three rings, crafted from recycled borosilicate glass using lampworking techniques. Made from broken lab vessels, it highlights sustainable design and creative reuse. This work pays homage to the essence of femininity, suspended between societal and traditional expectations and the need for independence. Its organic forms reflect resilience, like glass itself: fragile yet strong. Heated beyond 1000°C, it becomes pliable. Once cooled, it hardens into a rigid and seemingly frozen state, preserving the history of fire and transformation within - a metaphor for adaptability, strength, and reinvention in the face of challenges.
