Designer biography:

Organically driven and led by her materials .. Lynne is an alchemical maker creating unique, 'one of a kind' sculptural assemblages. Directly influenced and excited by things unnoticed, decay, peeling paint, rusting metal, colour, texture and pattern, she is inspired on a daily basis by erosion, the elements and hidden treasures ... things often discarded and overlooked, all with their individual stories of journeys and adventures ... some known, some imagined and some waiting to be made up.

'It is the emotional journey of making that is most important, everything else is secondary. I love that there is hidden beauty within often unnoticed treasures, hidden works of art just waiting to be discovered. Discarded by man and shaped by the elements'

These things are not created from sources that cause harm and pain but have been found in a

shed, that has a million things & a million memories

All carefully stored, ready for a million future projects.

They may have caused pollution & a big fat environmental footprint to have been created in

the first place,

But now they re-emerge in all their glorious gorgeousness to once more be seen & to be loved

& maybe even have this very conversation with someone else, who is not you

& who has not considered ....
