Chad Kelsick is a 25 year old contemporary Jewellery and Object Artist from Antigua & Barbuda. His current work is political, personal and experimental. Inspired by experiences and the world around him. Chad has been making jewellery since the age of 16, where he started making on his home island of Antigua.
Collection concept: Paradise Lost
A collection of pieces highlighting the issue of Neocolonialism in the guise of luxury tourism. A major issue that affects communities all over the world, the collection focuses on my home in the Caribbean. As Marcel Proust said “the only true paradise is paradise lost”.
