Designer biography:

I do not have a background in fine arts but I love art in all its forms. I did not study design but I discovered that with a lot of dedication there are no boundaries to what you may accomplish by yourself. I think my curiosity, the pleasure of handcrafting, experimenting and trying to learn new things has led me to the path of jewelry creation. I first started melting glass, then began melting metal and combining these two mediums to create unique jewelry. Time will tell where my creative passion will lead as I start to include other sustainable, recyclable materials in my jewelry.

Collection concept:

Life Skeleton

What are our bodies but shells to our souls?

Shells are the skeletons that house life and grows it outword. The shells also have the most remarkable designs found in nature. Think, for example, at the nautilus and its perfect chambers or the sundial or triton shell with their amazing patterns. But beyond their beautiful design and their ability to withstand time, shells carry a double symbolism: they represent fertility and birth, life and protection. Used as magical amulets by cultures all over the world, the shells are emblems of femininity. The Life Skeleton collection is speaking to the ones that protect, give life or nourish, to the ones that shelter love and compassion beyond physical beauty as beauty comes from within and grows steadily outward.
