Designer biography:
Ionut Panaite-Jitianu discovered the passion for jewelry design as a student of Assamblage Contemporary Jewelry School. The number of techniques learned allowed him to approach a lot of types of jewelry. His passion for history helped him to find inspiration in historical monuments' shape, ethnic and ancient jewelry, giving them a contemporary interpretation.
Collection concept:
'Volume' is a collection that was created following the drastic increase of silver prices at the beginning of 2026. Using fabrication techniques, I tried to decrease the amount of silver used in creating pieces of jewelry that show volume but maintain the weight at an affordable level. Texture, gold foil or gold plating and stones came to increase the beauty of 'Volume' pieces that I am offering this year.
