Saud Alsaleh is a contemporary Saudi artist and jeweller based in Riyadh, where his creative practice serves as a vital language communicating with the world through material, form, and meaning. Rooted in symbolism, his work is a continuous exploration of the essence of things, seeking significance in the elemental, the overlooked, and the fundamental. While he has engaged with a range of materials and media, his current focus centres on metals, particularly precious ones, through which he creates meticulously crafted, wearable objects that blur the line between adornment and artifact.
Collection concept:
Emotion Capsule explores emotions suspended in time—moments of frustration, anger, and inner turbulence that often remain unseen. Inspired by a personal therapeutic process, the work embraces the honest release of emotion without controlling or performing its expression. Formed from a single material under pressure, its minimal design reflects the internal compression of feeling, preserving traces of impact and release. The piece transforms private emotional experiences into a tangible object, inviting reflection on the complexity and authenticity of human emotion.
