Designer biography:
OfR Jewelry is a design brand created by jewelry designer Olga Košica and graphic designer Rok Marinšek, through which they explore contemporary jewelry, its objects, and new technologies, particularly 3D printing. The use of 3D technology allows them to achieve a balance in design, where complexity, structural strength, and high-quality materials intertwine with a wide variety of surface structures. OfR Jewelry is the author of numerous internationally recognized projects and exhibitions. Within the project, they collaborate with Chinese designer Masha Ma, with whom they have presented their work for several years during the official Paris Fashion Week. The OfR project has been featured in numerous international publications and exhibited, in addition to Slovenia, in Istanbul, Trieste, Vicenza, Paris, and at the M Contemporary Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney.
Collection concept
The MEDUSA collection is inspired by the mysterious world of the sea, echoing the poetic vision of the ocean described by Jules Verne in Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea. The forms evoke the movement of marine organisms, underwater currents and the sensation of floating in ocean depths. Created using 3D technology and electroforming, the pieces feature intricate structures that remain remarkably lightweight. The collection balances organic fantasy with a contemporary design language, where rich surface textures, vibrant colors and silver or gold-plated metal details create a dialogue between technological innovation and the poetic atmosphere of the underwater world.
