Designer biography:

Misaki Nomoto is a Japanese jewellery artist whose practice explores the relationship between people, materials and everyday life. Working primarily with paper and overlooked materials, she transforms familiar objects into wearable pieces through repetitive handcraft techniques. Her work is inspired by the traces embedded in ordinary things, revealing stories that often go unnoticed in daily life. Rather than offering answers, she hopes her work creates space for people to pause, reflect, and engage with it in their own way.

Collection concept:

Receipts are small records of what we have bought, fragments of our everyday lives. To live is to continue consuming. As prices rise, even ordinary purchases can feel constricting and heavy. Yet, like the fading ink on receipts, this pressure gradually slips from memory. In this series, discarded receipts are folded and woven by hand into necklaces and bracelets. Each act of consumption becomes another link in a chain, quietly surrounding us. The works explore the subtle tension between living and consuming, and the invisible weight that slowly accumulates through everyday life.
