Designer biography:
Anca Nanau attended the specialization courses of the Assamblage Art and Design Institute. She chose the creation of jewelry as a form of artistic expression because she considers them „an extension of any woman’s personality.” The Meltinjewels brand is a contemporary jewelry brand, created by Anca Nanau in 2021, in Bucharest from her passion for unique jewelry but also from her need for the artistic expression of her own feelings and experiences, for the interpretation of the diverse world of which we live.
Collection concept:
Rooted in heritage, Royal Collection brings the codes of royalty into the present through sculptural silver, touches of gold and imperfect forms shaped by time. Silver becomes armour - strong, protective, close to the body. Gold becomes a quiet symbol of power, confidence and self-worth. A collection that takes references from the past and reshapes them into pieces made for how women wear jewellery today. The collection is built around rings,earrings and pendants in sculptural silver, with touches of gold and stones in deep, royal tones. The pieces are designed to be worn on their own or mixed together, bringing that sense of heritage into a more modern, everyday way of wearing jewellery.
