"Be Connected To You"
This project is about connecting with ourselves.
Often, in our search for acceptance from others, we lose touch with our personal needs, dreams, and values that define us.
Inner connection is not a luxury — it is a necessity. When we are truly connected to ourselves, our relationships take on true meaning, depth, and duration.
This project aims to activate creativity and self-reflection, challenging everyone to discover when and how they experience this personal connection.

"Reminder"
Reminder is an invitation to truly look at yourself. The mirror reflects the viewer’s face, while the engraved phrase “Be you” serves as a reminder of the value of authenticity and the freedom to be who you truly are. Through reflection and language, the work creates a personal moment of connection with oneself, inviting the viewer to become part of it!

You forgot me…
Then lost me…
Distorted before becoming something else.
Do you still recognize yourself?
You broke.
Dissolved.
Rejoined.
Oh… here you are

Road
The one you walk..
The one you run..
The one you drive..
The one you travel..
I, shaped like a road..
The road to me, to myself, to privacy, to freedom...
4 roads..
4 reasons..
And yet.. something in common..

"Flow of Becoming Me"
The deepest connection with the self is fluid.
A journey through unfolding stages.
The world fades.
Attention turns inward.
Time dissolves.
Movement becomes effortless.
Inner connection becomes flow—
a force that carries, transforms, becomes.
An evolution.
A continual becoming.

"I Am"
Between who we are and who we are becoming, "I Am" explores that inner space through two distinct lines. The two lines meet but never fully align, reminding us that the connection to ourselves is an ongoing dialogue, not a final destination.

brooch, silver, gold leaf - S(t)OMA stoma (mouth) / soma (body)
Within the noise, how clearly do we hear our own voice?
As we find it, we become ourselves again,
we reclaim our own s(t)oma
we shorten the distance from us to us.
The closer we move toward our truth,
the closer we come to ourselves.
Katerina Roumelioti
My need to remember my desires led me to this form
not to forget them, to protect them, but also to allow them to unfold in front of me.
To stay connected to myself, I need my desires to remain a priority.
I need my desires to become the necessities of my life.
"Never stop looking up"
bodypiece_copper
Often enough, we get lost in the mundane and the routine of life. We need reminders to look up, to the sky, to the bright sun that blinds us, to the infinity of the stars. The more we are lost in the grayness, the more forceful the reminders have to be. So look up, always!

To give and to hold
Creating to share is giving physical form to feelings and thoughts. For a few moments, the act of creating is keeping me connected to myself, for the rest of time it connects me to the ones that hold on to my creations. A little piece of me that opens to give or invite as I open my hand to do the same.

Thoughts repeat until their edges thin, a blur folding into blur.
A form holds the echo of these moments, close enough to be felt, distant enough to be seen.
Repetition shifts into movement, into something almost tactile, gathering through the hands rather than the mind.
In this return, rhythm begins to form where there was noise.
Something steadies within its motion.
