Designer biography:

Iuliana Asoltanei is an independent jewelry designer and maker from Romania and the mother of a wonderful curly little girl. Her creations saw the light at Autor, ROJW and Sieraad international fairs but also at a lot of Romanian events. She uses unconventional and conventional materials in a personal alchemy. Her mission is to enhance the beauty in the everyday life of the humans who wear her jewellery. To reinterpret familiar forms in a new way. To bring joy and beauty wherever she can.

Collection concept:

CORPUS

A collection about form, weight, and presence. Following the delicate interiority of Anima Resilient, Corpus brings the body forward — solid, visible, and self-assumed. The pieces are handcrafted in silver, with mass and substance. They are meant to be felt on the body. They are not delicate in the classical sense, but grounded — objects that occupy space and demand attention. The forms reference anatomy directly: eyes, mouth, anatomical fragments. Not as literal representations, but as condensed symbols — markers of identity and memory. The reference to votive objects from the Orthodox tradition remains present, but reinterpreted. It is no longer about collective faith, but about a personal, internal ritual. Colored resin, enamel, gold leaf, pearls, and semi-precious stones create layers — surface and depth, protection and exposure.
