Cecilia Ojeda Déniz
Designer biography:
Cecilia Ojeda Déniz is a product designer from the Canary Islands whose curiosity and drive to learn have taken her from Barcelona, where she pursued her bachelor’s degree, to Delft and currently Milan. Every place has shaped her perspective and her approach to design. She believes design is transversal and always evolving, and likes to surround herself with those she can learn from all disciplines.
Collection concept:
“Para la Magua" is a collection of charms that explores contemporary nomadism, an increasingly popular lifestyle. In response, there is a need to ease adaptation and promote well-being in new environments. The collection aims to mitigate the process of culture shock through a series of five puzzles, and their modular nature allows for the transformation of individual elements into a connected chain. The project uses design as a means to preserve well-being in contexts of constant movement, using jewelry as a vehicle to communicate emotions.
