Calina Shevlin - Atelier Guilloche
Designer biography:
Since 2000, I have created jewelry as a study in form, texture, and refined craftsmanship. Since 2020, I have incorporated guilloché into my work, bringing a luminous depth to pieces fashioned in sterling silver, fine silver, and enamel. Inspired by geometric textures and enduring shapes, I create heirloom jewelry that is often bespoke, with no more than five similar pieces and never an exact duplicate. Each collection is conceived around a singular shape or theme, inviting the wearer into an intimate connection while encouraging the viewer to discover its quiet, intricate nuances.
Collection concept:
This miniature collection explores the quiet power of small forms coming together to create a greater whole. Composed of just five to six pieces, each design is developed intuitively, with guilloché applied as the work evolves and the final form revealed only in the making. The collection celebrates scale, texture, and connection, with each element carrying its own presence while contributing to a larger composition. Designed to feel intimate yet striking, it invites the wearer to discover beauty in detail, unity, and transformation.
