Designer biography:
Simona Gîrbou is a jewelry designer, accredited jeweler, and gemologist, and the founder of Bizar Concept, an independent contemporary jewelry studio established in 2017. Her work explores jewelry as a form of quiet language, where objects become metaphors for tension, fragility, and transformation. Working with precious metals and carefully selected stones, she creates pieces that balance precision with instinct, clean forms with subtle disruption. Each piece captures an in-between state — the space where something shifts, almost invisibly. Rather than decoration, her jewelry holds presence: intimate, intentional, and deeply personal.
