Designer biography:
Trained as a stylist and pattern maker, I also obtained my"Jewelery" diploma in 2010. Thanks to this passion that drives me, and with years of experience. I chose in October 2021 to listen to my heart by creating the eponymous brand Sabrina Guerrera. As a creative jeweller, I design, create and shape unique jewelry by working on the traditional techniques of this craft. Each piece is made by hand by myself in my workshop located in Hauts-de-France. My approach is to look for new, often unconventional, forms. Since the creation of my company, I've taken part in various fairs and exhibitions in France, Belgium and Germany.
Collection concept:
My latest collection is a profound reflection on our relationship with the world, with nature and with human dynamics. More than just a piece of jewelry, it reflects a fragile balance and a quest for harmony between the forces shaping our future. The identical but alternately associated shapes reflect an essential duality: The first bracelet, a circular bead, symbolizes the Earth, its natural harmony, unchanging balance and capacity to endure through time. The second, rectangular, represents human intervention, transformations and the socio-political challenges that mark our society. Its more structured layout evokes the influences and ruptures that mark our times. One and the other are successively interwoven, expressing the tensions and mutations of the world. The small physical difference between these elements reflects the complexity of our reality: ecological, economic and social transitions, contrasts between tradition and modernity, between order and imbalance. But beyond this duality, this duo of bracelets is also a message of hope and commitment.
It is part of my “Desirable Futures” concept, an invitation to imagine a future where fundamental values - respect, ecology, solidarity and love - take center stage. Mainly, each piece I design is the result of an alchemy between tradition and innovation, I like to create "objects" that have the function of being jewels... My studio is my laboratory, where I merge the craftsman soul with the designer’s spirit. More than a piece of jewelry, each creation is an artistic manifestation. The choice of precious metal work reflects the idea that jewelry is not simply for decoration, but belongs to a category of objects charged with meaning, precious values and an invitation to hand down from generation to generation. This is where precious jewelry takes on its full meaning. It is both an object and a profound witness to our lives.
