With studies and a career in Visual Arts - Ceramics, Romana Mateiaș enriches her artistic approach by developing her jewelry skills. She completed several contemporary jewelry courses studying various traditional techniques and alternative materials at Assamblage Contemporary Jewelry School. Her jewelry design harmoniously combines fine porcelain delicate textures and colored resin volumes with the elegance of sterling silver. The artworks are multi-component ensembles with decorative elements creating spectacular surfaces through small details that make jewelry more precious and require to be discovered. The artist believes that jewelry should be impressive, it should be noticed and arouse curiosity.
