Designer biography:

Liisa Hashimoto is a contemporary jewellery designer based in Kobe, Japan. For over 25 years, she has held annual solo exhibitions in cities such as Osaka,Tokyo and Kyoto, in Japan as well as in international galleries. Her work has also been showcased at prestigious international fairs, including Sieraad Art Fair in the Netherlands and Ambiente-Messe Frankfurt in Germany. Liisa has received significant recognition for her artistry, including the Itami Award and Osaka Craft Park Award at the Itami International Craft Exhibition. She was also honored with the Young Design Award at Interior Lifestyle Tokyo, which led to an invitation to exhibit at Ambiente-Messe Frankfurt in Germany.

Collection concept:

Liisa Hashimoto gets inspiration from her daily surroundings, especially during walks in parks, neighborhoods, and cityscapes. Her jewelry reflects the subtle movements and balances of nature, focusing on small details like seeds, buds, and moss. Fascinated by nature’s organic variety and seasonal changes, she captures these fleeting moments in her work using materials like silver, copper, and brass. Through her pieces, Liisa aims to evoke joy and a sense of connection to nature, bringing smiles to those who wear them.
