Collection concept: Dragging Pains
I have always dreamed of creating joyful jewelry - bold, vibrant, glittering pieces that sparkle with color and carry the scent of flowers. Pieces as lively and multifaceted as I am. Yet, I rarely can. The weight of the world bears down on my hands: the spread of devastating diseases, the looming threat of war, poverty in my own neighborhood, the shadow of dictatorship, the slow erosion of freedom. These heavy truths crush my dreams like a rusted hammer. My thoughts - delicate and light as paper spheres - long to roll free, yet they remain bound, tangled, and suspended in quiet despair. Even silken cocoons cannot escape - they are trapped in steel and fated for stillness. The wind cannot carry them toward their desires. Even soft sponge fragments cannot drift freely on water - they are pulled downward by the merciless weight of an Orwellian tombstone. And so I ask the most innocent question of all: Why can’t we live side by side, in peace and freedom? Wouldn’t it be better to surround ourselves with color, with sparkle, with joyful jewelry?
