Designer biography:
As a jewellery artist, I am committed to exploring the playfulness of craftsmanship and encouraging the viewer to interact with the jewellery and their bodies, thus bringing the relationship between jewellery and people closer. Through unique design and interactive elements, my work pushes the boundaries of traditional jewellery and invites the wearer to experience a more multidimensional sensory experience. Each piece strives to bring a pleasurable experience, allowing the wearer to enjoy themselves while gaining more pleasure and emotional connection through interaction with the jewellery. My jewellery is not only decorative, but also an interesting dialogue with the wearer.
Collection concept:
The word ‘implicit’ has been used in a spiritual way throughout the history of traditional Chinese art and the types of media used. Based on the way of speech of jewellery itself, the work never directly reveals the diamonds, but always hints at their existence - diamond-shaped tracks; diamond prints are created by covering clothes; diamond silhouettes are made by punching holes in money jars; diamonds are wrapped in resin, with scratch-off paint attached to the surface. By placing the usual symbols of value of jewellery in an ambiguous state between the visible and the hidden, a contemporary reproduction of traditional cultural values is achieved.
