Ana-Maria Negura is a contemporary jewelry designer who transforms metals into unique, expressive pieces. She refined her skills at Assamblage Contemporary Jewelry School, mastering both traditional and modern techniques with passion. Inspired by nature and personal experiences, she creates jewelry that blends textures, contrasts, and organic forms. Every piece she crafts is more than just jewelry—it tells a story, symbolizes connection and individuality, and is meant to inspire and empower. Through meticulous craftsmanship, she brings ideas to life, ensuring each design carries meaning, authenticity, and artistic depth.
Collection concept:
The “Flying Lesson” Collection embodies flight as both liberation and transformation. Each piece of jewelry reflects stages of personal flight in this life—Introspection, Courage, Exploration, Rediscovery, culminating in Liberation. Delicately crafted from gold and silver, adorned with sparkling crystals, these designs balance fragility and strength. The fluid, curved shapes evoke the harmony of nature, while the sharp, defined elements symbolize courage and resilience. Honoring the metamorphosis from birth to rebirth, this collection is a tribute to change, self-discovery, and the endless journey of transformation, ultimately leading to freedom. The artist showcased the first five pieces of this collection as an Assamblage School student at Inhorgenta 2025 and Handwerk & Design Munich 2025, curated by lecturer Andreia Gabriela Popescu.
