Collection Concept: ARCHAEOLOGY OF THE SENSES

Archaeology of the Senses' is about the rapport between the body and the world, mediated by mental representations built through the five senses.

In Western society the supremacy of sight and hearing has prevailed, often ignoring human deprivations and the rest of the world.

This work evokes the right to difference, by the way the five senses are hierarchized and connected, according to different geographies and cultures, or by the will of the 'self' that exists in every human being.
