Biography:

I live and work in Punta Arenas, Chile. I trained in Technical Drawing and Interior Design and Equipment, I have studied Visual Arts. I learned goldsmithing in my hometown and have furthered my studies in jewellery workshops and textile techniques with national and international artists. I have adopted the construction of wefts as my language, I explore antagonistic and sensorial materials to produce objects that engage with the body in a performative way, alerting our sensibility.

I am an active member of the Chilean contemporary jewellery Association Joya Brava and a member of the Fundación Artística de Chile, La Brújula Arte en Tránsito.

I add different materials of antagonistic origin by means of construction, repair and textile embellishment techniques. I construct stories full of signs and traces, which do not have a linear logic, just like my creative process, which is intuitive and from the unconscious; these intricate stories make up the search to understand the history of my context as a web of infinite relationships and connections, where the crossbreeding of all kinds can find a place.
