Biography:
Arlena is a Romanian jewellery designer who has always tried to blend the design of jewellery with other forms of fashion and art. In her practice, she is exploring the intricate relationship between power and femininity creating pieces that are focusing on enabling women to fully leverage their strengths professionally and personally.
Collection concept: MODERN MEDUSA
Modern Medusa is a collection of fine jewellery that epitomizes contemporary luxury, magnifying it through the lens of the new digital imperative. Statement pieces are audacious, extravagant, capturing the observer’s gaze and perfect for an “above the keyboard” outfit. Its inspiration is the serpent, a symbol representing femininity, power and an ability to transform and reinvent. Unexpected combinations of shapes and volumes give rise to a new take on conservative luxury, capturing the observer’s gaze. The vibrant colours will bring joy, excitement and extravagance into daily life.
