Biography:

Adelina Petcan has completed her Masters Degree from Konstfack University of Crafts, Art and Design in Jewellery in 2019 in Stockholm, Sweden and a Bachelor Degree in Sculpture in 2015 from the University of Fine Arts in Bucharest, Romania. In her practice she deals with jewelry as visual communication and seeks to address the problematics of private and public when it comes to bodily adornment in the social sphere.

Collection Concept:

HUMAN APJ finds its inspiration from its societal context, creating jewelry for everyday wear. Considering the past two years and the post pandemic feeling we could observe the need for people to compensate for everything that's been paused, including the way they adorn themselves. That is why we created a collection of statement pieces with our trademark organic texture which honors self expression by going big and bold and with a slight inspiration for nostalgia from the Y2K aesthetics.
