Maja Houtman is a Dutch jewelry maker. She completed her education at Vakschool Schoonhoven as gold- and silversmith in 1988. Her work has been Internationally awarded many Prizes. Her work balances on the interface of decorative art, design and crafts. Maja’s form language is expressed in her work. Characteristic is the use of meters of silver wire, and recently the introduction of thousands pieces of chain. The results are poetic and enchanting.
