Collection Concept:

Destruction of the Tillamook Rainforest series educates the public about the ecosystem of the Tillamook Forest in Oregon. In the Tillamook region alone, 215 species face extinction due to logging, urban development, agriculture, industrial pollutants and over-fishing. Hundreds of species are experiencing a rapid decrease in population because of clear cutting - the effects of which can be seen in satellite images. My piece demands future investigation of the urgency of the issue.
