Biography:

Jewelry Artist, Member of Klimt02

Youngji Chi graduated from a university in Seoul and she’s working on art jewelry based here. Although she majored in metal craft, she wants to make without restrictions on materials and want to express abstract jewelry that showed rhythm and humor by using ‘Elements’.

Since 2019, she has been participating in the overseas Art Jewelry Fair as a selected artist. art and practical jewelry made by her are on display at her studio in Seoul.

If you look carefully, you can see...

Many things that we perceive by visual perception are full of distortions. Sometimes our reality is so confusing, but at some point, if you look at it in a balanced way, you can find the right focus. I tried to express dots, grid patterns, and irregular lines in a clear and modern way using layers of surplus materials such as plastic mesh, aluminum, fluorescent pigments, and threads.
