Biography:

My name is Francesca and I'm a designer and sculptress too. I studied fashion design at the Academy of Fine Arts and I specialized in the sculptural study of Classic Jewellery in Milan (Accademia Orafa Ambrosiana) with a focus on the contemporary one in Florence (Alchimia Contemporary School). I worked for three years on a beachwear company where I dealt with the design and realization of some parts of these. After that I opened a small shoe brand where I was the designer. I currently work by designing, experimenting and making my jewels.

Collection Concept: Even cherries cry

The concept I want to express develops on two levels:the first purely abstract, contained in the title; the second manifests itself through the realization. Regarding the title this is based on irony and paradox and cherries represent all those people,plants who escape our superficial attention, yet have feelings and can be hurt. It's through creation that the journey of a single tear comes forward and free itself.
